Description

Higgins Bay of Plenty has secured an exciting new contract – NZTA’s Integrated Delivery Contract (IDC) for the region. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Foreperson to join the Cyclic Crew based in Tauranga.

This long-term contract focuses on the safe, reliable, and sustainable delivery of maintenance, renewals, and safety improvements across the network. As a Foreperson, you’ll be responsible for leading the cyclic crew undertaking general maintenance activities and minor road repairs.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Previous experience in road maintenance
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team
  • Full Class 2 Drivers license required
  • WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsement 
  • TC Basic Certificate and First Aid desirable
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and participate in an on-call roster
  • Able to reach the job site within 30 minutes for any call-outs
  • Familiarity with RAMM is beneficial
  • Reliable, honest, and a good team player
