The Role  

We have an exciting opportunity for a Demand & Freight Planner to join our team in Knoxfield VIC, in a dual-type role. Your purpose will be to meet customer current and future demand needs, while also managing the logistics execution at a national level.

Your role will involve:
  • Optimising a network model to ensure best location to manufacture items to meet customers’ needs
  • Driving demand planning across zones
  • Supporting EBIT improvement and Year-on-Year cost reduction 
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external stakeholder (suppliers, freight companies)
  • Delivering a well-balanced Sales & Operations Planning process
  • Responsibility of freight management and Chain of Responsibility

About You

To thrive in this role, you will:
  • Have proven capability to engage and influence key stakeholders
  • Be able to effectively manage an S&OP process
  • Have advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel) and experience in ERP systems
  • Demonstrate high analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Be flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to pivot as needed to manage conflicting priorities
  • Have worked in the manufacturing or retail industry (desirable but not mandatory)
