The Engineering Services Team at Fletcher Construction provide consulting services support to the wider construction teams across Major Projects, Brian Perry Civil and Higgins. Our diverse team specialise in Temporary Works and Construction Design and Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, CAD and Modelling, Surveying and industry innovation. 

This is a role specialising in temporary works design and technical support to the construction teams. You will be working with the design and construction team ensuring project objectives and milestones are met, whilst maintaining high performance standards in safety, environmental and quality.

What you will bring to the role: 
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Structural Design Engineer 
  • Experience as a Temporary Works Engineer beneficial but not essential, we can support you to develop in this space 
  • BE in Civil/Structural with 5+ years post study design experience 
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of temporary works construction practices and constructability innovation techniques
  • Engineering design experience relevant to temporary works solutions
  • Proven knowledge of AutoCAD 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to mentor and develop the technical skills of fellow engineers
  • A self-driven approach with strong time-management
  • Clear, concise and efficient technical writing skills
  • Ability to engage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
