Imagine a place where your passion for design expertise and customer service come together to create unforgettable customer experiences. We’re looking for a Designer to work out of our Windsor showroom, a role that blends design, creativity, and customer engagement.

As part of the Design team, you’ll be at the heart of our new retail operation, focused on both B2B (Builders, Interior Designers and Installers) and B2C (Homeowner) engagement. Your day will involve being part customer facing, conducting inspirational design consultations, as well as using your expertise to bring customers’ dreams into design reality.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Crafting Design Inspiration into Reality Marvels: Dive into the realm of kitchen design as you take charge of the journey. From conducting design consultations to translating visions into tangible sketches using our cutting-edge product range.
Shaping Customer Experiences: Utilise your design skills and solution focused approach to craft unforgettable customer journeys. With your keen eye for aesthetics and knack for customer service, you'll transform spaces!
But your impact doesn’t stop there. You’ll be a driving force in disrupting the market, bringing innovative ideas to the table, and being part of team leading the charge in our retail transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer-Centric: A passion for working with people, with an excellent ability to communicate ideas, listen actively, and translate customer needs into practical design solutions.
Design Creation: Collaborate directly with customers to design and bring their dream kitchen, laundry, and wardrobe solutions into reality. Develop detailed kitchen designs using design software 2020, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
Positive Mindset and Solution focused: Enthusiastic, approachable and capable of managing client expectations with a positive and proactive attitude. Quick and effective in resolving issues and addressing customer concerns.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the retail and trade teams, to ensure smooth transitions from design to delivery and installation.
Design Trend Awareness: Stay informed of current design and renovation trends to offer relevant and inspiring ideas to customers.

What We’re Looking For:

You're not just passionate – you're on a mission to redefine customer service excellence. We are looking for someone with flexibility to adapt to a dynamic customer-facing retail environment, which will also require working some Saturdays in the month.

Is this you?

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role

• Experience in kitchen and interior design

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in 2020 design (ideal) or related design program and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is desired

• High level of emotional intelligence
