PlaceMakers Riccarton is looking to add a new members to our team. Right now, we require a motivated go getter to take on our busy despatch role. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with exceeding our customer’s expectations being the goal every day.

The Role:

Your role will be to provide excellent customer service to our Trade Customers. You will be giving customers the right advice and getting the right information. Key Responsibilities for this role are:

Forklift driving
Compiling orders for despatch and customer collections
Advising our Inventory Controllers of stock product levels
Being Health and safety conscious
Providing excellent customer service

A Full New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential, and a forklift experience is advantageous.

This position is working full-time, from Monday to Friday, you’ll be part of our vital front-line team.

About You:

We are looking for someone with industry knowledge or warehousing experience. The role does require Heavy lifting, so you will need to be physically fit and have a solid Health and Safety values.

Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. To be considered for this role you must have a clean full driver licence. A Forklift licence is preferred, however not essential. You will need to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. You will have great attention to detail as well as competent computer and numeracy skills.
