Dimond Structural manufactures DHS steel purlin and composite flooring products for the construction industry. All our products are manufactured in New Zealand to the highest of standards. Decking systems are fully tested by independent laboratories in New Zealand and overseas to be compliant with local design requirements. 
 

The Opportunity:

Dimond Roofing operates in a fiercely competitive market characterized by tight schedules, narrow profit margins, and a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service. As a Detailer/Estimator, you hold a crucial position in our organization, enabling us to meet the demanding requirements of our market and ensuring prompt, accurate quotation services.

We are looking for a graduate or intermediate Detailer to join our team based in Papakura, Auckland. You will be responsible for outstanding provision of quantity surveying goals, pricing and insights, which includes, performing take offs and detailing from drawings and specifications provided by the sales team or direct from customers

To excel in this role, it is imperative that you possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, employing reason and logic to effectively address challenges that may arise. Your reliability and adaptability are key qualities that contribute to the smooth functioning of the team. By collaborating seamlessly and efficiently with your team, you play an integral role in Dimond’s success

 
To join the team, you will:
  • Be a recent graduate or experienced, specifically within Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering background
  • Be able to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications. Experience in large shed detailing is a plus.
  • Have a customer focus with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Have strong computer skills (Mainly AutoCAD & MS office) and a desire to upskill to the latest industry software
  • Have a good attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Be a Team player
