Description

Are you ready to make a significant impact on a transformative project? Fletcher Construction is seeking a talented and innovative Digital Engineering Coordinator to join our team for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).

About the Role

As Digital Engineering Coordinator 4D, you will support the delivery of construction focused digital engineering across a major infrastructure project. You will work closely with engineering, design and construction teams to build reliable 4D models, coordinate digital data, and improve how information is created and used on site. This role suits someone who enjoys detail, collaboration, and practical problem solving using digital tools.

  • Build and maintain 4D BIM models by linking construction programmes with 3D models
  • Produce construction sequencing outputs for planning, constructability and delivery discussions
  • Coordinate BIM, GIS, design and construction data to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Support asset information mapping and validation across project systems
  • Assist with digital workflows, templates and small automations to improve efficiency
  • Keep models current to support safe construction planning and clash avoidance

What you’ll bring to the role

We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills, industry experience, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with 4D BIM or construction sequencing on live infrastructure projects
  • Background in digital engineering, BIM, construction technology or automation
  • Working knowledge of 4D tools such as Synchro, Navisworks or Fuzor
  • Experience with 3D modelling tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, 12d or similar
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of technical and site based teams

About Us

We pride ourselves on safely delivering a wide variety of construction and infrastructure projects for the people of New Zealand and the South Pacific. But our power is not in what we do, it’s in who we are. We are a team of 3,700 people working under three brands: Fletcher Construction, Higgins, and Brian Perry Civil. We may be a big team, but we haven’t lost sight of what really matters: looking after our people.

We recognise that treating our people well is only partially about what happens during work hours. It’s also about the impact we have outside of work hours too. That’s why we have incredible learning and development opportunities for staff and their families, support systems and generous corporate discounts.
