Dimond Roofing is one of New Zealand’s most trusted names in roofing, known for quality products, strong customer relationships, and a commitment to doing things right. Our Invercargill branch is growing, and we’re looking for a proactive, organised Dispatcher to join our team.

About the Role

This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on coordination role at the heart of our daily operations. You’ll be responsible for scheduling deliveries, managing dispatch workflows, and ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with our production, sales, and transport teams to keep everything running smoothly — so strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-3.30pm.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily dispatch schedules for customer orders
Liaise with drivers, internal teams, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
Prepare and process dispatch documentation
Monitor order progress and resolve any delivery issues
Maintain accurate records and support inventory control
Uphold health & safety standards across dispatch operations

What You’ll Bring

Forklift and gantry crane experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate
Experience in dispatch, logistics, transport coordination, or a similar role
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Confident communication and a customer‑first mindset
Good computer skills and comfort with scheduling systems
A team‑focused attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed
Knowledge of the building or roofing industry is a bonus, but not essential
