Dispatcher – Morning Shift (6:00am–2:30pm)

Dimond Roofing, a leader in New Zealand’s roofing industry, is looking for a motivated and reliable Dispatcher to join our Invercargill team. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy working with customers, and have strong practical skills, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate daily despatch operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of roofing products
Operate gantry cranes and forklifts to safely load and unload steel products
Work closely with customers, drivers, and internal teams to provide excellent service
Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient yard and despatch area
Support production and logistics teams as required

What You’ll Bring

Experience operating a gantry crane and forklift
A current F endorsement (preferred)
Previous experience in the steel industry or in a despatch/logistics role (preferred)
Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with customers
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
A commitment to health and safety
