Laminex New Zealand forms part of the Building Products division of Fletcher Building Products Ltd, and we are a trusted business partner for decorative surfaces and panel products, offering expert knowledge and exceptional value to our customers. 

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Warehouse/DC Operator join our team based in Penrose, Auckland. It is a full-time, permanent role within a supportive team.

The role
  • We pair every new starter with an experienced buddy who’s there to support you, answer questions, and help you succeed.
  • Pick, assemble and pack orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare despatch documentation and load for delivery.
  • Sign for inwards goods and ensure item count is correct. 
  • Run and/or complete the rolling stocktake process for all products.
  • Daily operation of reach and counterbalance forklifts in a busy DC environment
  • Accurately tracking and shipping orders.
  • Manual handling & moving products across the warehouse.
Hours:  8:30am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
  • At least 1-2 current experience driving a Forklift/Counterbalance/Reach.
  • Previous experience working in warehousing & distribution environment.
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems and warehouse software
  • Experience with SAP or similar warehousing system advantageous.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Comfortable to work at heights.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer use, including accurate data entry and confident navigation of systems to retrieve and manage information.
  • Physically fit as the role requires manual lifting.
