The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Drill Rig Operator with a passion for excellence? We're seeking a dedicated professional to operate various cranes and drill rigs, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently. 


About the Role

  • Safely operate cranes and drill rigs as directed by site leadership.
  • Perform daily safety inspections and maintain equipment in top condition.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of work plans.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in planning and executing construction projects to meet targets.

What you’ll bring 

  • Certified to operate cranes/rigs and hold a full NZ driver license.
  • Minimum 5 years of crane and drill rig operation experience in civil construction.
  • Experience with various crane disciplines such as vibro hammers, drop hammers, sheet piling, driven piling, and general lifting.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding environments.
