Description

We are currently looking for a Class 4 Driver to join our Construction Team in Palmerston North. In this role you will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm and on occasion will be required to work additional days/hours to meet the needs of the business.

Training to gain additional licences

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be joining a small crew that works on a range of roading projects throughout the region. You will be responsible for:

Operating water trucks in a safe and professional manner to support construction activities
Conducting pre-start checks and maintain the vehicle in good working order
Monitoring and maintaining water levels and the distribution of water across the site
Communicating effectively with the site team to understand watering requirements
General labouring on site and operation of other equipment such as tractor broom

What you’ll bring

Class 4 driver licence is essential
WTR is beneficial
Willingness to undertake labouring duties
Good level of fitness
