Description

We are currently looking for a Class 4 Driver to join our Construction Team in Palmerston North.  In this role you will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm and on occasion will be required to work additional days/hours to meet the needs of the business.

  • Training to gain additional licences


What you’ll be doing

You’ll be joining a small crew that works on a range of roading projects throughout the region. You will be responsible for:

  • Operating water trucks in a safe and professional manner to support construction activities
  • Conducting pre-start checks and maintain the vehicle in good working order
  • Monitoring and maintaining water levels and the distribution of water across the site
  • Communicating effectively with the site team to understand watering requirements
  • General labouring on site and operation of other equipment such as tractor broom


What you’ll bring

  • Class 4 driver licence is essential
  • WTR is beneficial
  • Willingness to undertake labouring duties
  • Good level of fitness
