About the role : 
This is a fulltime permanent role, offering 40-45 hours a week, Monday – Friday ONLY between the hours of 7-5pm, based at our Drury Branch. 

We have an exciting role, where you’ll join a stable branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a close-knit, experienced team within a large organisation.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is primarily focused on Driving and Inwards Goods, ensuring timely customer deliveries and accurate processing of incoming stock. However, as part of a small and collaborative team, you’ll also be expected to support other areas of the branch as needed. This includes assisting at the Trade Counter, cycle counting, stocking and rotating shelves, loading/unloading goods, and contributing to general branch operations.

About you : 
  • Plumbing background will be ideal but not essential
  • Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment
  • Physically fit as some heavy lifting will be required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and willingness to work within a team.
  • Ability to build rapport with people from all ages and backgrounds
  • Motivated, self-driven and able to work independently
  • A strong focus on performance and dedication to support our valued customers
  • Competent computer and numeracy skills
  • Proactive and able to think on your feet and under pressure
  • A Full New Zealand drivers’ licence and a Forklift licence are essential.
