About the role:

This is a varied role working across the whole branch however the primary responsibility is completing deliveries directly to our customers. Otherwise you will be involved in sales on the Trade Counter, Cycle Counting, Inwards Goods and, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Loading / Unloading products and supporting overall branch operations.

• Loading and Unloading goods using our Transit Truck and completing deliveries throughout the region.

• Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses, and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service.

• Support the team in inventory management, inwards goods and doing deliveries.

• Ensuring products are organised and ready for delivery.

• Accurately checking and receipting product into our systems

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday, plus rostered Saturdays. Based in Palmerston North Starting January 5th 2026.

About you:

To shine in this role, you’ll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team. Our team work collaboratively and so your strong teamwork skills are essential to this role. Alongside this, you also possess the following –

• A Full, Clean New Zealand Drivers License is Mandatory, and a Forklift license or experience is highly beneficial.

• Proven experience in customer service, retail sales or hospitality environment/inward goods/Warehousing

• There will be manual handling, and heavy lifting required so you’ll need to be physically fit.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers.

• Be confident with computers and learning new systems.

• Plumbing and bathroom knowledge a plus

A Full Clean New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential. Forklift experience and licence are advantageous.
