Fletcher Reinforcing, part of Fletcher Building, is New Zealand’s leading supplier of reinforcing steel solutions. We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced EHS Advisor to champion safety, drive compliance, and support a positive culture across our operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and implement EHS policies and procedures that meet legal and company requirements
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training sessions
• Partner with operations teams to identify hazards and improve safety performance
• Provide guidance and coaching to foster a proactive safety culture
• Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership and regulatory bodies

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in an EHS role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• A relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH, NZ DipOSH)
• Strong knowledge of NZ EHS legislation and ISO standards
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Passion for keeping people safe and creating a better work environment
