Are you passionate about health & safety excellence and environmental compliance? Laminex NZ is seeking a proactive and collaborative EHS Business Partner to join our team at the Taupo manufacturing site.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role focused on both environmental management and health & safety leadership. You’ll be responsible for:

Environmental Compliance: Managing and maintaining current operating consents, liaising with regulatory bodies, and ensuring all environmental obligations are met.
Health & Safety Development: Supporting a new plant rollout with robust training programs including Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, and First Aid using our latest learning and development packages tailored to our new manufacturing facility
Safety Planning & Investigations: Developing and maintaining the site’s Health & Safety Plan, conducting ICAM investigations, and ensuring thorough reporting and insights.
Hazardous Areas Oversight: Applying the latest standards and guiding documentation for hazardous areas—experience in this space is highly valued.

What We’re Looking For

A team player who partners with frontline staff—not a safety enforcer.
Health & Safety experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment would be beneficial
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to complete and accurate reporting.
Experience in hazardous area management and environmental consents is a plus.
