The Role:

Reports directly to the Head of EHS with full autonomy to lead safety training, investigations, and compliance
Partner with managers to integrate EHS into operational decision-making, planning, and execution
Responsible for implementing annual safety plans and core standards across branches
Champion a proactive, line-led safety culture and the belief all injuries can be prevented within the operational workforce
Work with the business to develop and structure annual plans and routine activities
Focused on inspiring behavioral change and developing safety culture within teams
Regular travel throughout the Waikato and wellington region

About You:

Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to engage with diverse teams to advance safety culture
Excellent communication skills and confident around navigating computer systems and Microsoft suite
Focused on influencing mindsets and driving behavioural change to achieve zero injurie
Ideal for someone seeking deep connection and impact within their organisation
Proven EHS experience ideally within large, complex environment
Must have solid knowledge of NZ Health and Safety legislation and Codes of Practice
Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety are advantageous
