About the Role
We look forward to you joining the team at Fletcher Building as our new EHS Systems & Data Analyst.
Based at our Penrose Corporate head office, you will be joining our wider Group Environmental Health and Safety Team, who manage all aspects of EHS in Fletcher building. Embodying our key-value “Protect”, our team have developed and maintain our EHS management system that provides support and tools to proactively keep our people and community safe.
The purpose of this role is to support our EHS systems and deliver data analysis to meet the EHS reporting requirements of various stakeholders including Divisions, Fletcher Building Executives and Board.

The role will see you assist in further developing and maintaining integrated data pipelines for advanced reporting while you work with technical and functional stakeholders to administer and improve EHS systems across the business. Leveraging the business intelligence tool, you will develop interactive EHS dashboards for Fletcher Building.
As EHS & ACC Programmes Coordinator you will be supporting the Group EHS team with the day-to-day management of system-related tasks undertaking regular and ad hoc analysis to identify trends and opportunities to provide insight to the business.

About You
To be successful in the role you will have a relevant graduate or postgraduate degree in data science or information technology with a minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience in business analytics or data science. You will be collaborative by nature with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders to deliver high-quality business solutions using communication skills to present complex concepts in a digestible way to influence stakeholders. It is advantageous if you are exposed or have knowledge in the EHS, Operations or Business Risk fields and experience working in a large-scale organisation within a manufacturing, construction, distribution or supply chain.

With comprehensive technical skills and working knowledge of complex systems, you will have the proven experience using BI tools such as Qlik, Power BI or Tableau as well as advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using SharePoint is advantageous. With high competency in advanced data analysis techniques, you will be someone who understands the data life cycle with the capability to model, process, analyse and visualise data for decision making. Additionally, you’ll bring a high level of accountability with an aptitude to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
