About the Role:

This vital role will be joining our Hamilton team to support the wider business, working with other team members in the Christchurch office. The core focus is to ensure the coordination, administration and customer service aspects of the National Estimations Unit are handled accurately and efficiently whilst delivering the highest level of service to our customers, the PlaceMakers branches.

Daily you will be responsible for -

  • Responding to branch queries 
  • Processing service requests
  • Returning completed jobs to the branches
  • Workflow management
  • Liaising with internal and external estimators
  • Provide management reports/information as required
  • General administration duties

About you:

The role would suit someone who is looking to enter the work force or take the next step in their admin career – someone who has a great passion for people and excellent communication skills, we will provide full training and support around systems etc.
  • Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment - Administration experience is ideal but not required. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail are key!
  • You’re a strong team player, having the ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and take initiative.  
  • Highly customer focused with strong relationship building skills and a 'can do' attitude 

This is a Fixed-Term Maternity Cover role based at our Vickery Street, Te Rapa Office. Monday to Friday, 40 hours.
