We operate across sectors where we can add value through our expertise in foundations, structures, and marine works, and across the whole water sector delivering treatment, storage, and distribution infrastructure projects.

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our Ground Engineering team based in Mt Wellington, Auckland.

About the Role

This is a chance to get involved in estimating a diverse pipeline of work. You will be securing work by pricing potential projects in a competitive market to achieve agreed levels of margin and profit for the business. The balancing act comes in when you also have to meet the client’s expectations on price, time, quality and service.
Get in involved in the preparation of multiple tenders at any one time or work on larger specific tenders, as part of a team on your own. Either way you will be supported by the wider business.

About you

You’ll bring sharp analytical skills
Ability to make quick decisions with confidence.
Tertiary qualification (engineering or related field)
Track record in ground engineering or civil construction estimating
At least 3 years experience in an estimating role
In depth knowledge of construction methodologies
Comprehensive understanding of key construction contractual aspects including the conditions of tendering.
Candy experience highly beneficial
