Our Higgins National Estimating Division are looking for an Intermediate Estimator to join the Green Team. You will be predominately working on large tenders valued up to $30 million supporting our regional teams.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will join a medium-sized team of experienced Estimators who manage the full tender process, including risk prediction, assessment, and valuation; preparation, review, and delivery of tenders and quotes; pricing of variations; attribute writing and detailed bid submission.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Proven experience working on civil construction and roading projects and tenders
Hands on experience working on tenders and bids and their complexities
A result focused, commercially astute outlook and a practical approach to problem solving
Ability to handle a diverse workload, whilst finding creative and forward-thinking solutions
Technical qualifications preferred
Client engagement experience, you will work with clients/customers to ensure they understand our bids and resolve concerns or issues Proficient with CCS Candy, Benchmark and Microsoft Projects
Sound contractual knowledge especially NZS 3910:2013
Design software knowledge (AutoCAD, 12D) is advantageous but not essential
