Description

Higgins is seeking expressions of interest from those with a background in Road Maintenance.

We’re looking for experienced road maintenance professionals to join Higgins to support our collaborative long-term working relationships with our clients, suppliers and other stakeholders including the community.

If you’ve got experience across any of the below roles and are looking for a new opportunity across New Zealand, we are keen to hear from you.

Regional Maintenance Managers

Oversee multiple road maintenance contracts with a region. Supporting teams providing leadership, coaching, direction and technical support to the wider team.

Senior Contract Managers / Contract Managers

Lead contract teams to successfully deliver all maintenance the activities within the network, including all aspects of commercial and financial performance, variation pricing, client liaison and programming.

Maintenance Managers

Lead the successful delivery of the maintenance operations by ensuring all allocated works are delivered efficiently and effectively with the right solution in place. Provide coaching, advice and guidance to the maintenance supervisors and assist in planning, programme preparation and completion of works.

Renewals Managers

Responsible for the delivery of the Pavement / Surfacing Renewals Programme and specific variation projects across the network. These roles suit experienced Renewals Managers or Renewals Engineers ready for their next step.

Operations Managers

A hands-on role responsible for the delivery of maintenance works, annual programmes, and other allocated works. Get involved in planning, scheduling, plant and people resourcing, managing utilisation and plant costs. A role packed with variety.
