About Us

Clever Core is New Zealand’s largest purpose-designed, off-site manufacturer of the structural core for residential housing. We work with architects and designers to develop plans that are compatible with our large-scale automated manufacturing process. These plans are used to manufacture fully clad, insulated closed wall panels and floor and roof cassettes, which are then assembled on-site by our assembly team to complete our customer offering. While offsite manufacturing is relatively new to New Zealand, it’s already considered best practice for streamlining the production of homes at scale and pace in the European and North American markets.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to act as a financial advisor & business partner to the Clever Core team. The purpose of the role to provide financial analysis and insights on key business decisions well as providing accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting that identify opportunities for improvement.

Below is a list of duties / responsibilities you can expect this role to cover.

Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve Clever Core's short and long-term financial objectives
Day to day responsibility for project and job cost management, providing insightful and actionable analysis to assist the management and operations of the business decision making and minimising business risks.
Develop, implement, and review operational insights and reporting that identify opportunities to improve operational cost performance
Working closely with the QS to ensure BOM files are ready in Dynamics365 for production
Working closely with the inventory manager to ensure all transactions through the inventory ledger reflect an accurate view of stock moves
Ownership and management of fixed assets

About You

It goes without saying that you should be ambitious and looking forward to the challenges of working for a newly established growing business. The most important attribute we are looking for is someone that is a team player, with a positive, can-do attitude that is driven to achieve theirs and the businesses goals.

The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

Minimum of 6 years’ experience, and at least 4 years working in a business partnering role. Bringing Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Must be confident in collecting, assimilating, and synthesizing relevant business/operating information and data to develop fact-based recommendations and support business decision making
Strong business analysis, financial planning and reporting skills that generate business insights
Experience working with Inventory and product costing.
Experience using Dynamics D365 would be advantageous.
