As Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting, while leading a talented team and championing continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Customer Administration, and Inventory functions
  • Overseeing capital management, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards (including IFRS)
  • Delivering accurate and timely monthly reporting, and managing all group financial queries
  • Ensuring successful completion of internal and external audits, and timely tax submissions
  • Championing process improvement in AP, AR, invoicing, pricing, credit, and bank processes
  • Managing and enhancing financial systems (LN, Cognos, TM1, Hyperion)
  • Fostering a high-performance culture, developing and supporting your team
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners, including sales, operations, customers, banks, and auditors

What you'll bring

  • CA qualification
  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role within a large organisation
  • Audit experience within a commercial industry setting (not just accounting practice)
  • A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a desire to improve processes and grow team capability
  • Strong process improvement capability and a collaborative approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, meet deadlines, and inspire others
