Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Fitter/Welder to join our growing team at Specialised Engineering Services in Palmerston North.
As a skilled Fitter/Welder, you will work on a diverse range of projects including stainless and carbon steel fabrication, trailer and bulk tank machinery repairs and maintenance, and the creation of new plant and machinery for the Bitumen transportation industry.

What you'll bring to the role:
- AS/NZS ISO 9606.1.2017 Welding certification is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of welding and fitting experience.
- A full, clean Class 1 New Zealand driver's license
- Class 2, forklift, and Dangerous Goods is advantageous
- Tank and Trailer Fabrication, MIG, TIG Stainless, Aluminium Fabrication, Fitting, and Assembly experience.
- Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience.
- A National Certificate in Engineering - Fabrication (Light or Heavy)
- A strong focus on health and safety for yourself, your colleagues, and the public.
