Our Belmont quarry is looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor to join the team on a dayshift basis with 6 direct reports, working with the site engineer and contractors to plan and deliver preventative and repairs maintenance.  Lead team to safely run Primary and Secondary plants to deliver required volumes and Identifying opportunities to lift plant productivity.

As Fixed Plant Supervisor, you’ll lead our quarry fixed plant operations to ensure safe, efficient production and maintenance. You’ll guide a dedicated team, foster a positive culture, and help us deliver high-quality materials to our customers.

A Day in the Life

Your day starts with a pre-start meeting where you connect with your team, share updates, and set priorities. You’ll spend time on-site ensuring operations run smoothly, troubleshooting issues, and supporting your team’s development. Throughout the day, you’ll balance planning and hands-on problem-solving—whether it’s optimizing plant performance or coordinating maintenance. Safety is always front of mind, and you’ll finish the day knowing you’ve helped keep production on track and your team engaged.

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
  • Leadership experience in a similar operational environment
  • Knowledge of quarry systems, equipment, and statutory requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Quarry/Mining fixed plant exp advantageous but not essential
