Our busy Higgins branch in Hamilton is looking for a talented and dedicated Foreperson to join the team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a pavement crew, while operating specialist machinery related to civil and roading works, to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard. Your role combines hands-on machinery operation with team leadership, making you central to achieving project success.

What you’ll bring to the role: 
  • Appropriate licenses (Class 2 + WTR) 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within road construction 
  • The ability to operate a range of civil engineering and roading plant is a must
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team
  • Willing to be hands on and support your team with a variety of tasks
  • Strong focus on health and safety not only for yourself, your colleagues but also the public 
  • Reliable, honest team player who leads from the front
