About the Role

As a Foreperson - Foundations with Brian Perry Civil, you’ll take the lead on delivering complex piling, deep foundations, and marine works across major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate daily site operations, oversee foundations plant and crews, and ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

This role is hands-on and pivotal.  You'll work closely with the project teams and subcontractors to drive performance and maintain momentum on technically challenging projects, often in marine or constrained environments.

  • Oversee foundations plant and labour resources, ensuring the right people and equipment are in the right place at the right time.
  • Drive performance by ensuring quality, cost, safety, and productivity targets are met.
  • Monitor progress and problem-solve to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Organise and oversee daily construction tasks to meet programme and quality standards
  • Monitor productivity, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental controls are applied and documented
  • Coach and support team members, fostering skill development and teamwork
  • Maintain accurate records for progress, quality, and compliance

What You’ll Bring

  • Trade qualification preferred, with demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and foundation crews
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in piling, deep foundations, or marine/civil infrastructure work, including supervision
  • Strong practical knowledge of piling techniques, marine construction methodologies, foundations plant, temporary works and safe lifting practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in high-risk and complex environments
  • Solid understanding of HSEQ principles, with the ability to set expectations and lead by example
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with crews, stakeholders and project teams.
