Description

Who We Are

We’re one of Australia’s biggest and most trusted names in sheds and patios. We’re big enough to have a national network of local shed experts, plus a manufacturing and distribution network that serves the nation, as part of the Stramit family.

We’re also part of one of Australia’s biggest building industry families – Fletcher Building Australia – alongside TradeLink, Oliveri, Laminex and more.

But we’re also small enough to know what our customers want as people – with us, we know that what works for one person, won’t for another.

The Role

We are seeking a BIM Full Stack Developer for a 12-month fixed-term role, based at Erskine Park.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our existing applications and subsystems to ensure smooth business operations and continued success. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll analyse ongoing business needs, pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, and execute solutions to elevate the functionality, speed, and dependability of our systems. This position demands proficiency in both frontend and backend development, alongside robust problem-solving abilities and a proactive stance in tackling technical hurdles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scalable BIM solutions with .NET, focusing on value engineering to optimize customer benefits, from conceptualization through refinement to enhance project efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Technical, and Software Development teams to ensure timely project delivery within scope, demonstrating effective communication, task coordination, and resource management.
  • Design and deploy rigorous methodologies for software solution development, including project planning, test case design, and successful feature/system deployment to meet business objectives.

What we need from you:
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong experience with C#/.NET and ASP.NET, along with modern frontend frameworks like React.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and a solid understanding of database design and optimization.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Cloud & DevOps:
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • A deep understanding of the AEC industry, including experience with leading software tools like Tekla, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BIM methodologies and software applications, with a passion for driving innovation in construction and design.

What we offer
  • Supportive and close-knit team of highly experienced individuals
  • Hybrid workplace: 3 dedicated onsite workdays with flexibility
  • Amazing career development, training, and progression opportunities
  • A Perkbox account – giving you 24/7 access to thousands of perks, benefits, discounts, wellbeing tools and loads more!
  • Strong Inclusion and diversity commitment to our team members including Gender affirmation leave (10 days), and LGBTQ+ Rainbow Tick accreditation.
