Description

Who We Are

We’re one of Australia’s biggest and most trusted names in sheds and patios. We’re big enough to have a national network of local shed experts, plus a manufacturing and distribution network that serves the nation, as part of the Stramit family.
We’re also part of one of Australia’s biggest building industry families – Fletcher Building Australia – alongside TradeLink, Oliveri, Laminex and more.

But we’re also small enough to know what our customers want as people – with us, we know that what works for one person, won’t for another.

The Role

We are seeking a dotnet Developer to join our close knit and highly skilled team. This is a 12-month fixed term role, based at Erskine Park.

As a full stack developer, you will be responsible for implementing, enhancing, and managing new software and BIM processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand ongoing business requirements, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance the functionality, performance, and reliability of our systems. This role requires expertise in BIM environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and execute new BIM related projects, utilising dotnet framework.
  • Pro-actively drive improvement of existing BIM processes and in-house design standards to optimise performance and align with industry best practices.
  • Support project establishment and execution, develop comprehensive BIM plans, and liaise with other BIM and project stakeholders to ensure project delivery.

About you
  • Exposure to BIM environments
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in software project delivery - dotnet framework
  • Possess a keen interest in AI (pytorch), coding, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex software projects.
  • Global BIM and AEC experience is viewed favourably.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing and verbal skills.

What we offer
  • Supportive and close-knit team of highly experienced individuals
  • Hybrid workplace: 3 dedicated onsite workdays with flexibility
  • Amazing career development, training and progression opportunities
  • Strong Inclusion and diversity commitment to our team members including Gender affirmation leave (10 days), LGBTQ+ Rainbow Tick accreditation.
