The Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a focus on Software Architecture and Infrastructure to join our close knit and highly skilled team. This is a full-time role located at our Erskine Park location.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining existing in-house systems and customer facing web services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand ongoing business and operational requirements, as well as offering timely developer support to address production issues and bugs and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Maintain ASP.NET Services: Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of ASP.NET services through regular monitoring and maintenance.
  • Test Web Service Upgrades: Conduct thorough testing of web service upgrades to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Database Management and Administration: Oversee database management and administration (MySQL preferred).
  • Proactive Database Maintenance: Implement proactive measures to maintain database health and performance.
  • SQL Performance Tuning: Optimize SQL queries and performance to enhance database efficiency.
  • Windows Server Monitoring and Management: Monitor and manage Windows servers to ensure optimal performance and up-time.
  • Deployment Pipeline Monitoring and Maintenance: Maintain and monitor deployment pipelines to ensure smooth operation.
  • High-Level Coding: Write high-quality code in C# and similar languages to develop robust applications.
  • Web Service Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to web services to maintain uninterrupted service.
  • Lead server migration projects to ensure seamless transitions with minimal downtime and oversee server decommissioning projects to safely and efficiently retire outdated systems.
  • Client support, such as assisting in diagnosing and resolving client PC issues and providing level 2 support for client software installation and setup to ensure proper configuration and functionality.

About you
  • Experience with software certificate services an advantage.
  • Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
  • A basic understanding of Entity Framework is desirable.
  • High level coding skills and literacy
  • Experience with software certificate services an advantage.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing and verbal skills.
