About the role 

Due to internal movements, we are looking for a General Manager to join our Australian Division of Iplex. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to shape the future of Iplex Australia. As General Manager, you will be entrusted with steering a high-performing business that has rebounded from financial challenges to deliver exceptional results across. 

With a strong foundation in customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitability—particularly through major civil infrastructure projects—you will lead the next phase of growth by embedding strategic discipline, driving innovation, and elevating our customer experience to best-in-market standards. 

This role demands a dynamic leader who can balance commercial acumen with technical depth, foster cross-functional accountability, and champion safety, sustainability, and digital transformation. You will be instrumental in strengthening our people, processes, and systems, while unlocking new value across the full supply chain and product lifecycle

Key Responsibilities and Expectations 
  • Lead with a strong safety-first mindset and foster a culture of accountability across the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure effective risk management across operations, supply chain, and customer contracts.
  • Drive pricing agility and embed robust S&OP disciplines to optimise margins in a competitive market.
  • Strengthen manufacturing and supply chain operations to deliver service excellence.
  • Execute the digital transformation roadmap to modernise ageing IT infrastructure.
  • Build long-term customer loyalty through leading customer programs and service models.
  • Accelerate product innovation and expand the fittings range, including capital investment planning.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives that exceed industry and customer expectations.
  • Navigate complex environments with clarity and simplicity.
  • Engage with strategic suppliers across raw materials and finished products to unlock full value chain opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with Australian standards and ensure product quality and technical performance.
  • Leverage deep commercial and financial acumen to drive strategic growth and profitability.
