Description

The Higgins Construction division in Hamilton is currently looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join the team. We have a strong pipeline of work ahead and offer excellent opportunities to continue to grow your career with Higgins.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Proven experience operating a grader on civil construction projects, with strong knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in road construction
Experience operating other heavy machinery is highly desirable (e.g. diggers, rollers, watercart)
Appropriate licenses (Class 4 + WTR)
A strong focus on health and safety for yourself, your colleagues and the public
A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently when required
A good level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
Reliability, honesty and a flexible, team-focused approach
Willing to be hands on and support the wider team with a variety of construction tasks when needed
