We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional who enjoys building trusted relationships, influencing positive outcomes and helping people thrive in safe, healthy workplaces.

This is an opportunity to partner with leaders across a diverse operational environment and play a key role in embedding a culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

Partnering with operational leaders to strengthen safety leadership and engagement.
Providing practical advice and coaching to support safe, effective decision-making.
Facilitating risk identification, assessment and control activities across multiple sites.
Supporting incident investigations, learning reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Delivering training and capability-building programmes that empower leaders and teams.
Supporting wellbeing, injury management and return-to-work programmes.
Analysing safety performance data and helping shape future improvements.

What you'll bring

A tertiary qualification in Health & Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Science or a related field.
At least five years' Health & Safety experience within construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, transport, quarrying or a similar operational environment.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand health and safety legislation.
Proven experience coaching and partnering with leaders to achieve positive safety outcomes.
Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
A collaborative approach, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to people and wellbeing.
A full New Zealand driver's licence.
