Tumu Hawkes Bay is one of the largest building product suppliers on the East Coast of the North Island, including manufacturing our own Frames & Trusses. Tumu Frame and Truss Hastings are now seeking an experienced Senior/Head Detailer to lead their high-performing team.

About the Role:

This role will involve interpretation of architectural plans and producing detailed drawings. You will also be developing a cohesive and successful team, training your team members by demonstrating your technical expertise and leading by example. This role is centered on customer service, with a high level of exposure to internal and external customers.

Skills and experience required:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Detailer
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and juggle priorities
  • Service-driven and solution-oriented to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capability 
  • Highly competent knowledge of Truss design software. Pryda Build preferred but MiTek 20/20 or Sapphire considered
