A little about the role
We have ambitious growth targets and you will play a pivotal role in achieving them. You will provide leadership and direction to the finance function and protect the company’s current and future commercial and statutory obligations ensuring sound business decisions are made.
Reporting into the General Manager and being a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will be critical to the success of the Division through a number of key outputs.
You’ll provide proactive decision support and analysis on improvement opportunities at a divisional and Business Unit (BU) level. You’ll co-ordinate planning, budgeting and forecasting in conjunction with the individual BU's and in accordance with Group standards and timing and monitor overall performance. You’ll also ensure financial results and reports are supported with insightful analysis and commentary to support effective decision and action.
With a track record for delivering success in a commercial/financial role, you will be a strategically astute manager with strong business acumen. You will be results oriented and have an analytical and innovative aptitude to deliver and continually improve your offerings. You have the ability to understand commercially, technically and financially complicated issues and work in close partnerships with General Managers and other stakeholders.
This is a big role, so there are a number of things we need you to demonstrate. We’d expect you to have a strong track record in senior finance roles and drive best practice. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, your ability to influence, lead strategically and present with impact will be crucial.
