Are you ready to step up and shape the future of procurement at Laminex? We’re seeking an ambitious, inclusive leader to drive our newly centralised procurement function, delivering strategic savings and building a high-performing team.

About the Role
Reporting to our National Commercial Manager, this role in based in Victoria with a hybrid working arrangement and is responsible for:
  • Leading a team of category managers and procurement specialists, consolidating regional approaches into a unified, high-impact strategy.
  • Manage significant spend areas such as fibre and resin, with a significant annual procurement budget.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to deliver savings and efficiencies while reducing supplier volumes and optimising inventory.
  • Foster an inclusive, developmental culture—teaching, coaching, and supporting your team and stakeholders.
  • Increase the profile of procurement across Laminex, embedding best practices and robust processes.

Who We’re Looking For
  • Experience with raw materials procurement is essential
  • Proven people management and coaching skills, especially through change.
  • 7+ years’ procurement experience, including strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and stakeholder engagement.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused leader ready to step up and make a mark—this is a growth opportunity, not a role for a seasoned executive
