The role:

An exciting Fixed Term role, covering a period of parental leave, where you’ll join our busy but fun Invercargill branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a close-knit, experienced team within a large organisation.

The purpose of this role is to maximise heating, bathroom, and kitchen sales by providing excellent and informed customer service. You will be responsible for assisting our trade and retail customers on all aspects of their projects from planning, organising, processing, and designing plans as required by the customer. We are seeking someone with proven customer service and industry experience who has positive attitude and is genuinely interested in developing their career and skill set in this busy team.

This is a full-time fixed term role till the 2nd of November 2025 working Tuesday to Saturday per week.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven customer service experience, confident and be a clear and accurate communicator who can deal with challenging demands and time frames.
  • It will be diverse and challenging and will require someone who is focused and able to work autonomously to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ideally you will have some design exposure, however high levels of motivation and an attitude to get things done are paramount.
  • Teamwork and Time Management skills to manage incoming queries from suppliers and contractors are critical.
