Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Auckland workshop team at our yard in East Tamaki.

As a key member of our workshop, you’ll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of heavy plant and trucks. You’ll work alongside a skilled, collaborative team of mechanics who take pride in delivering quality work while maintaining a safe and supporting environment.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment 
  • Proven experience working on plant such as diggers, graders, loaders, dozers and milling equipment 
  • Level 4 Trade Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Class 2-5 licence is highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A commitment to a safety-first culture
  • Availability to participate in an on-call roster
