ABOUT US

Clevercore New Zealand is a purpose-designed offsite manufacturing facility based in Wiri. We are building a new generation of homes for New Zealand and want to be the number one supplier of panellised homes built off-site in a manufacturing plant.

WHAT WE DO

We manufacture the walls, floors and roofs to go into Residential homes in a purpose built first of its kind manufacturing plant. The purpose of using this method of construction is create both efficiencies as well as a safer and better-quality product. Our clients come to us for homes that can be built faster, more accurately and with less waste.

THE JOB

As a Homebuilding Technician on the Clevercore Truss Plant, you will be responsible for:

Manufacturing of roof trusses in a timely and efficient manner
Operating computer-controlled machines used to cut and assemble timber trusses
Assisting on the assembly line – hammerhand and timber skills required
Using power tools where needed
Working as a team
Working safely at all times

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this position you will need to:

A recognised carpentry qualification or similar as relating to construction. This role will be part of the team further down the production line which requires a greater level of skill and experience to ensure specs and tolerances are met.
Tested experience working with timber as relating to construction methodologies
Experience using power tolls (nail guns, saws, etc)
To be physically fit
To be reliable and committed
The ability to work to deadlines
The ability to work unsupervised and part of a wider team

Rate of $29 to $32 an hour depending on level of carpentry expertise.

You will need to:

Be currently based in Auckland, New Zealand
Pass Pre-Employment checks (medical, Drug + Alcohol and a Criminal Check)
