Why You’ll Love This Role
• Report to Finance and work closely with Supply Chain and Operations to manage the full import process, including payments and foreign currency orders.
• Build strong working relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers, and Fletcher Building treasury.
• Track supplier orders, maintain shipment documentation and cost sheets, and update product cost files.
• Promote safe work practices and support the rollout of health, safety, and environmental procedures.

What You’ll Do
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders including the plants finance and plant operation teams
• Level of understanding of business processes, policies and procedures for the Laminex Finance Team 
• Shifting from learning to executing key activities to support the finance, supply chain and operations teams.
• Highlight opportunities for standardisation and automation
• Driving value add activities and performing as a true strategic partner with the business. 

What You Bring
• Strong skills in Excel, SAP or similar systems, and general Microsoft Office tools.
• Solid understanding of import procedures, shipping practices, and financial documentation.
• Proven ability to analyse data, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• Builds strong relationships, influences effectively, and adapts communication style to suit stakeholders.
• Takes ownership, works well in teams, embraces change, and is focused on continuous improvement.
