Description

The role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role will see you supporting our largest commercial customers as an Internal Key Account Manager. This role also requires assisting the team with sales on the trade counter, cycle counting, assisting with customer deliveries and other duties required within the branch. 

  • Understanding the key customers needs and providing professional solutions
  • Answer calls, emails and process quotes and orders
  • Working with Site Managers to ensure specific time frames for their projects are meet
  • Communicating delivery times and preparing orders ready for delivery
  • Communicating with suppliers to check availability of products. 
  • Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service

This is a permanent full-time role. Working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm and 1 Saturday every 3-4 weeks. 

About you: 
  • Experience in sales, quoting and price negotiating 
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to build rapport and form strong relationships
  • You will be an excellent communicator who is organised and adaptable
  • Trade industry knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial, however not essential, as it would be your positive attitude and willingness to learn that we would be looking for
  • A motivated, self-driven person, with the skill to work proactively, independently and within a team
  • Be resilient and thrive working in a fast-pace environment 
  • A Full New Zealand drivers licence is essential for this role.
