The role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role will see you supporting and maintaining the Branch major GHB customers as an Internal Key Account Manager. This role also requires assist the team with sales on the Trade Counter, Inwards Goods, Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Customer Deliveries, Loading / Unloading and whatever else is necessary within the branch.

  • Understanding the key customers’ needs and providing professional solutions
  • Answer calls and emails and quoting orders
  • Working with Site Managers to ensure specific time frames for their projects are meet
  • Communicating delivery times and preparing order ready for delivery
  • Communicating with suppliers to check availability of products. 
  • Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday from 8-5pm and every third Saturday.

About you: 
  • Around 2 –3 years’ experience in a customer service/sales environment preferably in the Plumbing Industry
  • Ability to quickly learn about the company’s products 
  • Strong organisation and co-ordination skills 
  • Ability to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to embrace and adapt to new technology, with an intermediate level skills of Excel
  • Persuades or influences a customer to accept a point of view or take a course of action which directly or indirectly generates sales
  • Takes prompt action to accomplish objectives; takes action to achieve goals beyond what is required; is proactive
  • Has the ability to maximize competitive advantage while professionally disadvantaging the competition
  • Effectively manages multiple demands upon time to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
  • Interacts with others in a way that gives them confidence in your intentions and those of the company
  • Generates innovative solutions; explores different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities
  • Full New Zealand drivers’ licence will be beneficial for this role.
