About the Role:
You will be responsible for accurately checking and receipting product within our inwards goods area, but also involved in sales on the counter serving customers, Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Loading / Unloading products and whatever else is necessary within the branch.

This will include utilising our internal systems and digital technology to track and log daily deliveries
Managing all special orders while ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. 
Monitoring and driving cycle count to ensure the accuracy of our inventory.
Ensuring accurate receipt of product and investigating any stock discrepancies and resolving items out of stock promptly
Ensure all product returns, repairs and warranty claims are processed and followed up on
Assisting within the yard and showroom, providing product advice when required

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday + Rostered Saturdays

About you:  

Your eye for detail will help you to ensure that our customers are receiving prompt, efficient service and sound advice while keeping safety at the forefront.
Proven experience in Inventory or Inwards Goods would be ideal 
Computer and numeracy knowledge, as well as great attention to detail
You will also be a solid all-rounder who takes great pride in your work and can multi-task while working to deadlines and remaining calm under pressure.
Strong social skills and ability to build rapport with people from all ages and backgrounds.
Ability to work autonomously and enjoy being part of a cohesive and successful team.
Knowledge of the building industry and ACE software would be an advantage but is not essential.
