The opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised Inventory Controller to join our busy manufacturing plant and take ownership of our stock levels in Hamilton. This role would be ideal for someone with a great attitude, planning and organisation skills and who enjoys a busy and hands-on role within the inventory management space.

This is a varied and strategic role and as such you will establish close working relationships with suppliers to gain industry and product knowledge and investigate alternative suppliers to gain a competitive advantage. Day to day you will work closely with our Planner and be responsible for managing and maintaining stock levels, purchasing material and supplies, ensuring inventory integrity and assisting in our warehouse with receipt of products in.

Monday to Friday role - 7:30am - 4pm

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to:

Have excellent attention to detail
Ability to investigate stock discrepancies
Have practical experience in inventory and purchasing
Be goal-outcome orientated
Be immaculate with communication, as you will deal with many stakeholders
Be someone who can make smart commercial decisions and work well in a small team environment.
