Tauriko Inventory Manager - Tauriko, Bay of Plenty

The Role
As an Inventory Manager based at our Tauriko manufacturing and distribution site, you will be the key person managing our inventory operations supported by an Inventory Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include ensuring optimised and accurate stock levels  as well as efficient supply chain processes to meet customer demand and expectation. Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the complete inventory lifecycle to ensure and effective flow of product (receiving, storage and distribution)
  • Manage various off site locations and coordinating raw material deliveries to the plant.
  • Manage and maintain our MPI TF Certification.
  • Manage inventory processes as well as invoicing, indent stock and stock rotation.
  • Conduct timely and accurate cycle checks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate information.
  
About You
The ideal candidate will have a solid mix of education and hands-on experience, ideally holding a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field as well as having proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector. Demonstrating excellent communication skills, you will be able to gain trust and interact across all organisational levels. We’re also looking for:
  • Solid IT skills including JDE and the MS Suite.
  • Sound leadership skills, open and approachable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Team player attitude, with a safety mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
