The Role

Our Auckland Frame & Truss plant in Wiri is looking for a Planning and Inventory Planner to keep production running smoothly and efficiently. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage production schedules, coordinate orders, and ensure materials are where they need to be—on time, every time. You’ll be the key link between design, production, and dispatch, helping us deliver quality frames and trusses to our customers.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and long-term production schedules
• Monitoring job progress and adjusting plans based on capacity and material availability
• Coordinating design documentation and confirming delivery dates
• Forecasting material requirements and supporting inventory accuracy
• Identifying bottlenecks and recommending workflow improvements
• Communicating updates and KPIs across teams

About You

You’re organised, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Along with experience in planning and inventory management, you’ll bring:

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent computer skills (Excel proficiency essential)
• Ability to analyse data and optimise workflows
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing or building industry processes (advantageous but not essential)
