The Role
We are seeking a collaborative and commercially astute Key Channel Manager to lead a team and drive performance across our key channels. This is a senior role with real influence, focused on shaping channel strategy, strengthening key relationships, driving performance and identifying growth opportunities whilst supporting Winstone Wallboards to maintain and grow its market position. There is a clear focus on identifying opportunities in emerging markets, adopting and leading innovative practices, along with responding to the needs of a new generation of customers. Day to day you will:
  • Lead, coach and support a high-performing team.
  • Build strong customer insight to shape pricing, proposals, and business plans. 
  • Strengthen key relationships with major existing customers and partners.
  • Analyse data and market trends to identify opportunities and guide decisions.
  • Partner with internal leaders to drive specification, growth, and customer outcomes. 
  • Engage with key clients and represent the business at industry events.

About You
We are keen to hear from people with sound sales experience, ideally in large key accounts management role or senior sales role. You will bring a wide range of sales skills and have;
  • Experience leading teams and driving sales performance in complex, multi-channel environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically.
  • Experience managing key accounts, contracts, pricing etc. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Critical thinker with ability to understand market dynamics, trends and customer needs. 
  • Maturity and resilience, with the ability to operate in a large, high-share business.
