We have an entry level opportunity to join the Winstone Aggregates’ lab team based at Hunua Quarry.

You don’t need a white coat or a science degree, but common sense and NCEA level 2 will get you started in this role, along with full training within a supportive team environment.

About the position:

• Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, occasionally a Saturday morning
• Evaluate and appraise the quality of our aggregate through various testing methods for strength, size, and composition
• Actively engage in day-to-day operations by collecting and testing aggregate samples and materials
• Test materials in accordance with laboratory protocols, policies, and customer specifications
• Opportunity to travel to other quarries for testing purposes

• Strong listening skills and the ability to follow testing instructions diligently
• This is a physically engaging role— some repetitive lifting up to 25kg is part of the job 
• New Zealand driver’s license (Restricted OK)
• Awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices
• Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident
