We are seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer with hands on leadership skills (3 direct reports)and a strong focus on production, balanced with quality, safety and people development. 
You’ll work closely with production, quality and maintenance teams to improve manufacturing processes — from coil coating and material storage through to packaging and loading finished product for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, material flow, production lines, packaging and logistics 
  • Champion improvements & projects that enhance quality, efficiency, sustainability and safety 
  • Oversee and support manufacturing and processing activities to ensure safe, efficient production
  • Support and develop process engineers and quality team members through coaching and mentoring    
  • Analyse data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and informed decision making 
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture focused on wellbeing and shared success
  What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in manufacturing, process or production engineering 
  • Background in paint, coatings and/or steel manufacturing is beneficial, though not essential 
  • Strong organisational skills with a collaborative, people‑centred leadership style 
  • Confidence leading improvement projects and supporting operational teams 
  • A practical, curious, open mindset with the ability to learn and adapt
  • Interest in developing expertise in coil coating and pre‑painted metal for construction
